Women only · beginners to black belt
Why a dedicated women's program?
Jiu-Jitsu is one of the only martial arts where size and strength don’t decide the fight — technique and leverage do. That makes it arguably the most effective self-defence martial art for women specifically. But walking into a mixed BJJ class on day one can feel intimidating. So we built a program that solves both problems.
Our Women’s program gives you all the technique, all the fitness, and all the self-defence benefits of BJJ — in an environment where every training partner understands where you’re starting from. Coached by a woman who’s been exactly where you are.
Meet Daini Wei
Daini is a Black Belt, NSW State Champion and Asian Open Champion at Masters level. More importantly, she’s built one of the most welcoming women’s BJJ communities in Sydney. Her classes attract a range from complete beginners to active competitors — and every woman on the mat helps the ones around her.
What you'll learn
Who trains in the women's program?
Complete beginners. Busy professionals. Mums. Students. Women who’ve trained martial arts before but want a break from mixed classes. Competitors from our main program who want extra mat time with female training partners. You’ll find all of them here.
Can I also train in the main classes?
Absolutely. Many women in the program train in both — starting in the women’s-only classes to build confidence, then adding mixed fundamentals or advanced classes as they progress. You pick the pace.
